TECHNOCHALLENGE has arrived in Brazil!

We’ve just run the first TechnoChallenge Brazil. Over 70 people have joined, from BD and BB teams, in one of the best capability programs of the year.

Our local chairman, Kees Kruythoff, has opened the two sessions, talking about the importance of digital channels for our company and the competitive edge it brings to our brands: “our competitors have the same opportunities as we do, but it is in our hands to do it faster”!

The first presentation of the day was about Unilever Digital Gameplan, and how we’re preparing ourselves for the digital challenge. People were thrilled about ASSIST and later on told us how they are already having ideas to implement it.

In a partnership with our digital agencies, the content was built around Social Media, Mobile Marketing and Search. We’ve also invited Ibope to give us a provocative perspective of the digital scenario, which served to demystify misconceptions around only young and rich people access digital channels. The opportunities are out there, right now, for all our brands.
As an external orientation, we brought in Pepsico, who shared with the team the Doritos case study, showing that when it comes to digital, the simpler, the better.

At the end of the day, a hands-on exercise was developed for OMO, counting with the support of both BB and BD team. Ten groups have worked on a three-task exercise around the OMO Ecosphere. The best group will be rewarded with Nokia cell-phones and will have their ideas implemented.

To keep momentum of the workshop, we’ve created a blog, where people can download presentations, post comments and interact with digital content online. It also includes a glossary with key terms and definitions, to help set up the digital mindset.

On top of that, we’ve used internal communication to to infuse digital thinking in our organization. And through the Digital TV screens, we'll run drops of digital tips and Unilever cases, raising awareness of its importance.

É NOSSO MOMENTO!
